This talk will focus on how Osteopathy can help rider and horse, and will give some practical tips to keep both in good shape. The talk will be presented by Swansea-based Osteopath Sara Farina, founder of Equilibrium Osteopathy.
Sara works throughout South Wales with both riders and horses, combining her extensive knowledge of bio-mechanics and Pilates techniques. She ensures both are at their maximum potential physically in order to maximise performance and reduce the risk of injury.
Originally from Italy, Sara studied at Swansea University, where she graduated with a first-class masters degree in Osteopathy. After that she completed a post-graduate degree in Animal Osteopathy in Oxfordshire, where she was awarded “best student of the year”.
With a background in horse riding, Sara has first-hand experience of the demands this sport has on the body and how best to prevent injuries in the field.
